ROTTERDAM: Soymeal on the European meals and feeds market edged higher on Wednesday, tracking firmer CBOT soymeal futures on a mild technical bounce in CBOT soymeal futures following recent losses on concerns about the escalating trade war between the United States and world's top soy buyer China.
South American soymeal was mostly offered between flat and $3 a tonne up from Tuesday, unchanged and $4 a tonne lower, tracking the weaker tone in CBOT soymeal futures.
EU rapemeal was mostly quoted between one euro per tonne lower and one euro higher, supported by gains in soymeal. Weaker rapeseed futures, because of a brighter global oilseeds supply outlook, limited gains.
