Rs58.4mn revenue recovered in July 2018

LODHRAN: Deputy Commissioner Saqib Ali Ateel said on Wednesday that the revenue wing of the district administration recovered over Rs 58.4 million tax in July 2018.

Presiding over a meeting to review the revenue recovery exercise, he said that revenue officials should ensure meeting recovery target every month.

He said that revenue department recovered over Rs 19 million as mutation fee, over Rs 16.1 million as stamp duty, Rs 462,000 as agriculture income tax, over Rs 1.7 million as water rate and Rs 22,500 as registration fee.

The meeting also discussed progress on computerization of land record centre and instructions were issued to the officials concerned to complete the task as early as possible.

ADCR Arif Zia, ADC (F&P) Hidayatullah Khan, assistant commissioners, tahsildars, Naib tahsildars and LRC officials attended the meeting.
