Parliamentary secretary directs acceleration of work on 25 development projects

ASTORE: Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Barkat Jamil here Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to accelerate work on 25 uplift projects that after completion would bring positive changes in people’s lifestyle.

Talking to media here, the parliamentary secretary said owing to good policies of present elected government, development works were in progress in all districts of Gilgit Baltistan.

“Currently in Astore, work on about 25 developmental projects are in progress and directives were issued for acceleration of work.”

The projects, which are currently running in Astore include Rattu and Perishing Power projects besides 23 others that after completion would address low voltage problems besides promoting major and infant industries.

He said CPEC was a lifeline project that would benefit entire Gilgit Baltistan.
