PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra here Tuesday while presiding over Senate meeting of Khushal Khan University Karak, accorded approval to reviewed budget for year 2017-18 and new budget for year 2017-18 of the university.
The meeting was attended by the vice chancellor of the university, Principal Secretary to Governor, Munir Azam, Secretary Higher Education and concerned officials.
On this occasion the meeting was given detailed briefing on performance and budget of the university. The Governor while eulogizing the universities’ role in provision of higher education, stressed upon the attendants to focus on provision of quality and research oriented education to the students.
He said that best education institutions help renovate the economic life of societies and play important role in introducing new inventions and methods.
