Karachi's PS-93 presiding officer held for electoral malpractice

The police arrested on Saturday a presiding officer of Karachi's PS-93 constituency for electoral malpractice.

According to local media reports, Waheedullah sent another man as his replacement to perform election duty in his place. This negligent unprofessional behavior of the presiding officer was caught by the Returning Officer (RO).

The police apprehended Waheedullah on the orders of the RO. The man who was sent to substitute Waheedullah managed to flee.

Similarly, three polling officers were arrested in Sanghar on Saturday after they were caught trying to open postal ballot papers.
