PTI suggests two names for caretaker CM of Punjab
After Nasir Mahmood Khosa excused himself from the position of Punjab caretaker chief minister (CM), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) recommended on Thursday names of Dr Hassan Askari and Nasir Durrani for the designation.
PTI’s central information secretary Fawad Chaudhry took to twitter and wrote, "PTI has suggested the names of renowned writer and Analyst Dr Hassan Askari Rizvi and Nasir Durrani as caretaker CM of Punjab".

Dr Askari is a renowned author and analyst, whereas, Durrani has served as the Inspector General of Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier, the Punjab government announced the name of Khosa as the caretaker CM of Punjab, however, later the PTI withdrew his name from the position. Khosa has served as the chief secretary of Punjab and Balochistan.
