MOSCOW: Urals crude differentials in northwest Europe eased slightly on Monday ahead of Russia's Surgut sell tender.

Meanwhile Russian pipeline monopoly Transneft said the sulphur content of oil it exports to the West from Baltic ports and Novorossiisk will continue to rise.

The sulphur content of Urals exported from Primorsk will rise to 1.63 percent, Transneft Vice President Sergei Andronov said, while the content in Urals exported from Ust-Luga and via the "Druzhba" pipeline will rise to 1.8 percent, and ex-Norossiisk it will rise to 1.55 percent.

In the Platts window, Litasco sold 100,000 tonnes of Urals to Total for loading ex-Baltic on Dec. 8-12 at minus $0.75 a barrel to dated Brent, traders said.

That was down by 5 cents from Urals assessments on Friday.

Trafigura offered a similar cargo for Dec. 2-6 at dated Brent minus $0.60 a barrel, while Glencore offered 100,000 tonnes of the grade for Nov. 30-Dec. 4 at a discount of $1.05 a barrel, but there was no interest.

There were no bids or offers for Urals, Azeri BTC, CPC Blend or Siberian Light in the Mediterranean in the afternoon trading session on Monday.

Russia's Surgutneftegaz issued a spot tender on Monday to sell 400,000 tonnes of Urals loading from Baltic ports in December.

Surgutneftegaz is offering two cargoes of 100,000 tonnes loading from Primorsk on Dec. 7-8 and 9-10 and two cargoes loading from Ust-Luga on Dec. 6-7 and 10-11. The tender closes on Nov. 21.

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Monday Russia would determine its position on the possible extension of a global deal to cut oil output later in November.

Iraq's northern exports have averaged about 250,000 bpd so far in November, according to shipping data and an industry source, down from an estimated 450,000 bpd in October and levels of more than 500,000 bpd in earlier months this year.
