HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks tracked most Asian markets and ended the week with a gain as traders welcomed a positive reading on Chinese trade.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.06 percent, or 17.40 points, to close at 28,476.43.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.13 percent, or 4.42 points, to 3,390.52 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.66 percent, or 13.45 points, to 2,036.81.
