Comedy Masala International announces third series of shows in Pakistan

After a hugely successful launch in February 2017, followed up by another set of sold-out shows in April, Comedy Masala International is back from 13 – 15 July with yet another diverse line up of international comedians who will perform live in Pakistan for the first time!

Comedy Masala International is proud to announce its third series of shows in July 2017 brought to you by Advance Telecom. Mastercard and McDonald’s have also come on board again to sponsor Comedy Masala in July and are true supporters of the Comedy revolution in Pakistan.

Comedy Masala will put on 5 shows over 3 nights. Visiting Pakistan this year are 1)STEPHEN CARLIN,the Scottish comedian who has been rated by Stewart Lee as one of the ‘ten best stand-ups in the world’, and is one of the smartest and most intelligent comics around, regularly being reviewed as having the best dead-pan and mind-blowingly funny material 2)REX NAVARRETE, who was featured on ‘Lopez Tonight’ and is the premier Filipino-American comedian in the circuit today. Rex boasts FOUR full-length comedy albums (available on iTunes) and is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience doing stand-up comedy 3)JONATHAN ATHERTON, the Australian comic affectionately known as ‘The Laugh Guru’ – Jonathan is fluent in at least 9 languages, and has performed all over the world to the most diverse audiences. All 5 shows will be hosted by Comedy Masala founder & Pakistani comedian, UMAR RANA.

The COMEDY MASALA INTERNATIONAL franchise will continue to bring live international stand-up comedy to Pakistan, featuring comedians from North America, Europe, Australia and South East Asia.
