KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Monday having 31731.19 points with a positive change of 317.23 and volume of 183,047,850 shares.
High and Low were 31788.30 and 31341.48 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 241,444,850 shares with 348 total traded companies out of which 248 were up 84 were down and 16 were unchanged.
CEMENT were the top traded sector with total traded volume of 53,070,700 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 34,035,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were MapleLeafCement XD with a volume of 18,476,500 and price per share of 57.30 (1.70), Pak Elektron with a volume 17,628,000 of price per share of 53.31 (2.53), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 16,466,000 of price per share of 16.05 (0.14).
The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 2415.00 (115.00), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 1238.65 (58.98) and Siemens Pak. share of 1100.21 (52.39).
The top three decliners were Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1605.25 (-14.75), Ismail Industr with price per share of 221.00 (-74.53) and Habib Bank XD per share of 181.32 (-4.30).
