Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfiqar has expressed his desire to work in Indian shows but said that he doesn’t fit well in an Indian reality TV show ‘Big Boss’ due to his humble nature.
Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfiqar has touched the hearts of Indian audiences through his performances in a recent TV shows ‘Dhoop Chaaon’ and ‘Aaina Dulhan Ka’ on Zee Zindagi.
According to media reports he said, “I like to watch reality television rather than drama. I was offered Big Boss before. But I don’t think it’s my thing. I think I am too nice for the show. I think they will kick me out in the first episode only as I will not generate any controversy. I think I will be pretty boring”.
“I would love to do Indian shows, provided the script is good. Call me old-fashioned, but I will be hesitant to kiss on-screen. It will take some time for the boldness to find a place in Pakistan. At the end of the day, we are an Islamic country and it’s a sensitive topic,” he added.
Mikaal also feels that Pakistani dramas are more close to reality than Indian dramas which revolve around Rs 500 crore empires. Currently, he can be seen in a new drama series ‘Tum Mere Hi Rehna’ along with Urwa Hocane on Hum TV.
