imageLONDON: European stock markets ended mixed on Wednesday as official data revealed a slump to US growth, causing the dollar to slide against major rivals.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.15 percent to stand at 6,780.03 points compared with Tuesday's closing level.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.20 percent to 9,603.23 points and the CAC 40 in Paris fell 0.23 percent to 4,487.39.
