HYDERABAD: The former Pakistani ambassador to the United Nations, Abdullah Hussain Haroon, has said that being a leader of Lyari's Katchi community he endorses Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar's suggested security steps to deal with violence and crime in Karachi and Lyari.
Speaking at a press conference here on Saturday, the former diplomat said that his supporters back the targetted operations conducted by the rangers and police as put forward by the interior Minister.
Separately, commenting about international war mongering against Syria, the former UN ambassador said the US and its Western allies had so far waged war and indulged in intervention without the UN's approval in at least 7 Muslim countries since the year 2001.
