ISLAMABAD: The government has decreased the petroleum prices by Rs 6 per litre, the decision would be effective from October 1st.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had sent a summary to the petroleum and finance ministries and had recommended to reduce the prices of petroleum products by Rs 6 per litre, which has been approved by the government.
With the implementation of new prices, the price of high speed Diesel(HSD)would come down by 40 paisas, light diesel oil (LDO) by 14 paisas while price of kerosene oil would be decreased by 40 paisas. To maintain the 60 percent parity between price of petrol and CNG the authority has asked to reduce the price of CNG by Rs5.70 per kg.
