BERLIN: Germany paid a record low rate to borrow money for 30 years, the country's central bank said on Wednesday, just two days after Moody's slashed the ratings outlook for Europe's top economy to "negative."
The yield or rate of return at an auction of 30-year debt was a record low of 2.17 percent, the Bundesbank, which organised the sale, said in a statement.
