JINAN: Fallen Chinese politician Bo Xilai denied the first bribery charge against him at his corruption and abuse-of-power trial on Thursday, the court said.
Prosecutors said Bo had received bribes totalling more than one million yuan ($163,300) from businessman Tang Xiaolin but he told the court: "Tang Xiaolin's allegation that he gave me money three times is not true."
The remark was given in a statement of proceedings so far, posted by the court online.
