SAN SALVADOR: A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of El Salvador on Friday, the US Geological Survey said, though there were no immediate reports of damage or victims.
The quake occurred at a depth of 62 kilometers (38 miles) at 5:46 am (1146 GMT) off the coast of La Paz department.
The epicenter was approximately 70 kilometers southeast of San Salvador.
