supermarket 400BUCHAREST: Romania's annual inflation will slow to within the central bank's target band by the end of 2013, its governor Mugur Isarescu said on Monday after it kept interest rates on hold.

"Prospects remain favourable for the annual inflation rate to return inside the target band by the end of the year, but risks and uncertainties related to the developments in the external environment, capital flows, administered prices and some volatile prices still persist," Isarescu told reporters.
