ANKARA: Turkey's exports jumped 18.2 percent in 2011 to a record high of $134.6 billion, according to Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) data announced by Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan on Monday.
In December, exports rose 4.5 percent to $12.1 billion, the minister told a news conference.
The exporters group posts its data almost a month before the official Statistics Institute releases its trade data. The two sets of data typically match.
