WARSAW: Poland's registered unemployment rate fell to 9.6 percent in October compared to 9.7 percent the previous month, the state statistics office said on Wednesday.
Analysts polled by Reuters had expected the rate at 9.6 percent.
The statistics office said that the number of registered unemployed stood at 1.517 million in October.
The data also showed the unemployment rate as measured by the Labour Force Survey (BAEL) fell to 7.1 percent in the third quarter of 2015 from 7.4 percent in the previous quarter.
