BANGKOK: Thailand's falling consumer prices in the first two months of this year are not a concern as domestic purchasing power remained positive, a deputy prime minister said on Monday.
"It's still not a concern. We have monitored the data which showed it was a reflection of falling costs. Purchasing power remained positive," Pridiyathorn Devakula told reporters.
Data released earlier on Monday showed the annual consumer price index fell in February for a second consecutive month, largely due to lower oil prices.
