BUENOS AIRES: Argentina's unemployment rate fell to 6.9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014 from 7.5 percent in the previous three-month period, the government said on Wednesday.
The fall in the jobless rate comes as Latin America's third-biggest economy teeters on the brink of recession. Unemployment data in Argentina shows the official number of people looking for a job who cannot find one.
