STOCKHOLM: Activity in Sweden's services sector fell in December compared with the previous month, a purchasing managers survey showed on Wednesday.
The Swedish service sector purchasing managers index (PMI) landed at 55.4 points from a marginally downwardly revised 56.8 points in the previous month, data compilers Silf and Swedbank said.
A reading above 50 points shows the sector is growing. Earlier this month, data showed Sweden's seasonally adjusted purchasing managers index for the manufacturing sector rose to 55.4 points in December from 52.7 points in the previous month.
