BANGUI: Chadian troops entered the Central African Republic on Tuesday following an appeal from Centrafrican President Francois Bozize to help put down a rebellion, a CAR military source told AFP.
"Heavily armed elements of Chadian ground forces aboard 20 vehicles arrived in the middle of the afternoon at Kaga Bandoro (north) where they joined elements of the Central African armed forces based there," the source said, after rebels seized the key diamond-mining town of Bria.
