msicqwSAKE: Hundreds of rebels were withdrawing Friday from hills overlooking Sake, a town in eastern DR Congo that they seized last week and had promised to leave under a regionally brokered deal, an AFP photographer said.

Under the deal, the rebels are supposed to withdraw on Friday from Sake and nearby Goma, the main city in the volatile mineral-rich region.
