ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi and Minister of State for Professional and Technical Training Sardar Shah Jahan Yousaf called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf separately on Friday and discussed with him issues in connection with their respective constituencies.
The Prime Minister said the government is committed to public welfare and every effort has been made during the last four years to provide relief to the people.
Both the legislators apprised the Prime Minister about the development projects under execution in their respective constituencies.
The Prime Minister directed them to expedite the pace of development work for the benefit of the people.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that development projects initiated by the present democratic government will go a long way in raising standard of the people and for provision of basic needs.
