National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 Central have arrested 13 culprits, who were involved in various crimes.

According to the details, three persons on a car, no.

OKF-9869 tried to rob cash Rs 2 million from a van of a patrol pump and snatched a motorcycle from Irfan r/o Sahiwal at gunpoint.

On the arrival of Motorway Police, the culprits left the car and tried to flee but one of the culprits Fiaz Rasool was arrested along with 30 bore pistol and 05 alive rounds.

In another incident the officers of Motorway police arrested Usman, Azam, Sharif, Liaqat r/o Sahiwal after the culprits opened fire at the officers when they tried to search a truck E-3202.

Two Pistols, two magazines and 14 rounds were recovered from them.

Similarly, 450 bottle of liquor was recovered from a speeding corolla car LES-7898 and Rafiq and Imran r/o Multan were arrested.

Younas r/o Kasur was arrested for stealing laptop of a passenger.

Five culprits namely Haqnawaz, Afzal, Abdul Hayee, Riaz and Farooq were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and carrying illegal SMG gun.

The officers of Motorway police put off the fire in a burning Shahzor Dalla RNQ 3452 and saved 11000 chicks.

On the direction of DIG Dr Muhammad Shafique they arrested criminals and handed over recovered items to local police for further investigation.

Inspector General NH&MP Wajid Ali Durrani appreciated the efforts of the officer of Motorway Police and announced for commendation certificates and cash prizes for them.
