Altaf appeals donation for providing ration to fire affected families

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to charitable people for donating generously to the Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation to provide ration for at least two months to the affected families of the Baldia Town conflagration.

Food items such as rice, pulses, flour, tea, powdered milk, ghee, edible oil, sugar and other commodities can be donated in the KKF Head Office, ST- 7, FB Area Block 14, Karachi, said a statement issued by the MQM on Thursday.

It said that people intending to donate food items can also contact on KKF telephone numbers 021-36320767 and 021-36315599. They can also call Nine Zero telephone numbers 021-36313690 and 021-36329900.

Altaf Hussain has asked the MQM workers to offer their services as volunteers for packing the food items collected at the KKF Head Office.
