RAWALPINDI: Seven Pak army troops who are part of Pakistan contingent serving under United Nations flag in Congo have received minor injuries in exchange of fire with rebels during angry mob protest on Monday.

According to ISPR, they are safe and out of danger.

Pakistani troops were providing protection to civilians at the time of incident in their area of responsibility as per UN mandate.

Pakistan at the moment is second largest troops contributor in UN missions around the globe.
