ecpKARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has convened a meeting of political, religious and nationalists parties on Thursday (March 28) in Quetta.

Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim will chair the meeting in which the matters related to the forthcoming general elections will be discussed, official sources said on Tuesday.

The provincial leaders of the parties including Dr.Ishaq, Dr. Tahir Bizenjo of National Party Balochistan, Advocate Asif of Balochistan National Party (Awami), Dr. Jahanzaib Jamaldini of Balochistan National Party (Mengal), Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Ahmed Ali Kohzad of Hazara Democratic party, Usman Kakr, Qadir Agha of Pakhtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party, Abdul Sadiq Noorzai, Rauf Atta of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F, Maulana Asmatullah, Maulana Muhammad Hanif of Jamiat Ulema Islam-N, Mir Sadiq Umrani, Ayatullah Durrani of Pakistan Peoples Party (Parliamentarians), Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Haji Lashkari Raisani, Nawabzada Changez Marri of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Qasim Soori, Shakeel of Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf, Abdul Mateen Akhunzada, Wali Shakir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dawood Khan Achakzai, Commander Khudai Dad of Awami National Party, Sheikh Jaffar Khan, and Mrs. Sobia Kiran Kibzai of the Pakistan Muslim League have been invited to participate in the meeting.
