KARACHI: On Wednesday until Mid Day, KSE-100 remained positive for most of trading session and was at 14,251.64 with a positive change of 50.85 and volume of 52,816,403 shares. High and low were 14,322.00 and 14,180.16 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 65,413,808 shares with 255 total traded companies out of which 146 were up, 94 were down and 15 were unchanged.
Construction and Materials sector was in the lead with a total traded volume of 14,774,235 shares and D.G. Khan Cement as leading company in that sector (7,009,913 shares) followed by Commercial Banks sector with a total traded volume of 9,908,626 and United Bank as the leading company in that sector (2,909,478 shares).
The three Top Traded companies were D.G. Khan Cement with a volume of 7,009,913 and price per share of 41.05 (-0.03), P.T.C.L.A with a volume of 6,032,265 and price per share of 14.63 (0.03) and Nishat Mills with a volume of 3,795,907 and price per share of 51.08 (1.78).
The top three Advancers were Unilever Pakistan with price per share of 7,205.00 (126.16), Unilever Food with price share of 2,665.00 (100.31) and Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 4,100.00 (41.86).
The top three Decliners were Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 970.00 (-30.09), Wyeth Pakistan with price per share of 845.00 (-14.00) and Philip Morris Pakistan with price per share of 150.48 (-7.91).
