ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Thursday reiterated the resolve of democratic government to take all possible steps to provide relief to masses.
He was talking to Ambassador-at-large Khalil Ahmad, Brig (r) Hassan, and Tariq Kayani notables from Gujar Khan who separately called on him here at the PM House, and congratulated him on assumption of the office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The Ambassador-at-large apprised the Prime Minister about projects of laying fiber optics between China and Pakistan and dualization of railway track between Lahore and Rawalpindi with the cooperation of Foreign donors.
Brig (r) Hassan and Tariq Kayani expressed their best wishes for the Prime Minister and extended their full support to him.
