He was talking to Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour who called on him at the Prime Minister's House here to congratulate him on assuming his office.

The Prime Minister said the revival of railways was one of his major priorities and the government would take all steps to make Pakistan Railways a vibrant organization.

He expressed his best wishes to the Prime Minister to overcome multifaceted challenges facing the country at present.

The Minister for Railways apprised the Prime Minister that two rail carriages with 99 oil tankers of furnace oil had reached Lalpir, the main storage depot of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) from Karachi port while five others carrying 200 oil tankers were on their way.

The furnace oil will be supplied to power plants to generate electricity aimed at ending the unscheduled load-shedding across the country.
