ISLAMABAD: A senior Parliamentarian of Pakistan People's Party and Member of National Assembly's Public Accounts Committee informed the media that President Asif Ali Zardari decided to convene a special session of National Assembly on Wednesday (today) at 4.00 p.m. in order to elect new Leader of the House.

He disclosed that the decision to call the session of National Assembly was taken in the Central Executive Committee of Pakistan People's Party which was held on Tuesday. The decision was also conveyed to Members of National Assembly belonging to Pakistan People's Party via SMS mobile services.
