ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan Sunday warned that destruction of the judiciary will destruct the country.

Addressing a rally taken out by PTI in favor of judiciary, he said that if Nawaz Sharif was a lion in real then he should act like a lion by quitting power corridors in centre and Punjab.

Imran Khan warned that the future of the country would be destroyed same day when the judiciary would be destroyed; adding that those believe in the status-cu would never permit the judiciary to be independent.

He said that what was the problem with the Premier Gilani and why he was avoiding writing a letter to the Swiss courts, the reason was that if it happens the judiciary would reach the corruption of all those sitting in the parliament.

He said price hike, poverty, was on the rise, as the people were hand to mouth now, but on the other hand Gilani was protecting those criminals who have looted the money of the nation.

Warning Premier Gilani for the largest long march in the history of the country, Imran mentioned that PTI would stage the largest tsunami demonstration in the history of the country, if the PM refuses to resign on the day when the detailed SC judgment would be released.

He said that no one would be afraid of the rulers as they were weaker from inside. PTI Chief criticizing the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader said that government would not be removed by holding the rallies of ‘patwaris’ at texila.

Elaborating further he maintained, If Nawaz Sharif was a ‘lion’ in real he should prove himself a ‘lion’ by quitting power in Parliament and Provincial assembly through resignation, as if the polls held in Punjab no one would be able to restrict the general elections across the country.

“One claiming to be a ‘lion’, ‘tiger’ or what so ever should prove himself as this was the time to not to limit himself only a paper tiger,” he said, adding if Nawaz Sharif was a lion, then he should have held a rally at Quetta, the real lions have done it without a bullet proof glass.

Lashing out at the role of Parliament Khan said, “I want to ask Parliament why they approved the resolution in the House against the judgment of Judiciary.”

He was of the view that now no one cares about the resolutions of the parliament as the result of the joint resolutions was in front of Pakistan, saying “that how Americans cared about the resolutions by the Parliament on drones strikes.

PTI chairman held Zardari responsible for the recent drone strikes across the country saying that if PTI was in power then it should have quit the power in protest against the drone attacks.

“We want a free judiciary which may grant freedom and independence to the people of Pakistan,” he added. He also made an announcement for taking on-board all APDM parties that boycott the past polls saying that if the government would protect people the PTI youth tsunami would march towards Islamabad.
