ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Tuesday announced it will organize a march on May 6, 2012 in Islamabad in order to express solidarity with the Supreme Court and PTI does not consider Yousuf Raza Gilani as Prime Minister after his sentence by the apex court in contempt of court case.

An announcement to this effect was made at news briefing by PTI Chairman Imran Khan after a party meeting here. He said if Yousuf Raza Gilani does not accept the verdict of Supreme Court after hearing of his appeal, then PTI would start tsunami march. "Attempts were being made against the apex court in the name of so-called democracy," he maintained.

Answering a question, Imran Khan said that if PML-N members of parliament and Punjab Assembly tender their resignations now, PTI could have talks with that party for the campaign against the removal of the present government.

He stressed that solution to all problems facing the poor people in the country was in holding free, fair and transparent elections at the earliest.

He also said that PTI would hold a public meeting at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi later this month.
