BUENOS AIRES: Several people were killed and 550 injured when a crowded passenger train slammed into the buffers at a railway station on Wednesday in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, an official said.
Many of those hurt suffered fractures and other serious injuries and dozens of commuters were still trapped in the wreckage, Daniel Russo from the civil protection agency, told a press conference.
