indexasISLAMABAD: Vice President of Iran for International Affairs, Ali Saeedlou said that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Pakistan soon.

During President Ahmadinejad's upcoming visit to Pakistan, several issues such as Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, providing Pakistan electricity and expansion of bilateral ties in the field of railway and air transportation will be discussed, vice president said while talking to the journalists after a cabinet meeting in Tehran on Sunday, Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

He pointed out that since Pakistan needs Iran's electricity capacities and Iran has good potential for exporting its electricity to Pakistan, the issue of export of Iran's electrical energy to Pakistan will be discussed.

During the upcoming visit, Iran's economic assistance for reconstruction of flood-hit areas of Pakistan will also be discussed,' Saeedlou said.

He pointed out that border cooperation and expansion of border trade transaction between two countries will also be discussed during President Ahmadinejad's visit to Pakistan.
