KARACHI: The first non-stop business train has started operations as reported by the media on Friday.
On Friday, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani inaugurated the Lahore-Karachi-Lahore Business Express in Lahore.
Starting a new era in Pakistan railway’s history the train will start operations in a public-private partnership venture.
The train is equipped with international facilities and best possible safety standards.
Equipped for overnight travel the train is outfitted with LCD/TV, emergency and medical facility with link to 1122.
One can book tickets online and passengers can also get their tickets at delivered at home for free The train also boasts a spacious air-conditioned hall, comfortable seating and a prayers’ room, snack bar, gift shop, free computer kiosk, free wi-fi internet facility and modern washroom.
