The Chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Centre, Engr. Obaid-ur-Rahman Khan said that the event will be an industry exhibition with latest technology in Pakistani electrical and electronics with lighting, telecommunication, instrumentation and control, allied services and various other industries.
The event will be participated by local and international businesses that will provide a chance for business networking amongst the decision makers, manufacturers and system integrators. One of the facts that such events take place in Pakistan only annually, rather than more often like in other developed countries, is an indication that Pakistan still has a lot of space to grow and improve its industry.
If more of such industry focused events take place regularly often within in a year, showcasing different electrical and electronics with theme-based technologies, like innovative and applicative electrical development and services and construction, energy and consultation, amongst others, then more emphasis could be laid of which areas need more attention and financial support. The strength of Pakistan's electronics and electrical engineering could also be discovered this way and the government can patronize the growth.
