ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government demanded of Federal Government to give permission for opening a local TV channel.
According to a private Radio channel, all the arrangements have been finalized and provincial government is waiting for the permission of PEMRA and Federal Government.
The Provincial Government of KPK said that it has finalized all the arrangements to inaugurate a local TV channel but it has been waiting for the permission of Federal Government for the last four months.
Provincial Information Minister Iftikhair Hussain added that provincial autonomy has been granted after the 18th amendment and each province should make its own TV channel.
