KARACHI: Former England captain Kevin Pietersen retired from limited overs cricket last year has reversed his decision from the short forms of the game.

The England and Whales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the 13-man squad for T20 Internationals and a 15-man squad for One-day International (ODI) series against India in December.

Pietersen wasn’t included in the squad for the two T-20s to be played in Pune on December, 20 and Mumbai on December 22.

After playing the T20s the England players will return home for Christmas and go back again to India in January for five ODIs.

Pietersen played his last ODI in February against Pakistan in Dubai. He was not picked for the home ODI series against South Africa following the text message scandal.

The ODI series will begin at Rajkot on January 11.
