imagePakistan Left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir expressed satisfaction after making a successful return to the T20I series against the West Indies.

Pakistan completed a rare 3-0 whitewash against current World Champions West Indies by eight wickets in the third and final Twenty20 international on Tuesday, achieving their first ever clean sweep.

According to Express Tribune, “I was really happy with my bowling partnership with Imad,” said Tanvir. “His control and line was superb which gave him great results, we both choked the runs which made their batsmen go for big shots and losing their wickets.”

Pakistan's left-arm spinner Imad Wasim, who with nine wickets was the leading wicket-taker in the series and was rightly named the player of the series. Imad climbed 33 spots in the latest rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday.

Positioned at number four, Imad is now Pakistan's highest-ranked bowler. West Indies' Samuel Badree is five points ahead at number three, while South Africa's Imran Tahir tops the rankings.

“I really enjoyed by the spell in the second match,” Tanvir added. “I rate the performance among my best for Pakistan in the shortest format especially since it paved way for a fine win for the team.”

Tanvir took three crucial wickets, leaking only 13 runs in his four over quota in the second T20I.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will play the three ODI series against West Indies from September 30 while the Test series will begin from October 13.
