Pakistan’s legendary batsman and former skipper, Younis Khan has been hospitalized after falling seriously ill.
According to local media reports, the veteran was shifted to a local hospital in Karachi due to dehydration and high temperature. His medical report shows low count of white blood cells, thus, doctors have advised him one week rest.
The cricketer was reportedly hospitalized on account of low platelets, reported Geo.
Younis Khan is part of Pakistan Test squad against West Indies in Dubai. However, the recent health issue has put Younis availability in question.
According to schedule, Pakistan will play three Twenty20s, three one-day internationals and three Tests against West Indies in UAE, starting 21st September.
