imageAhead of the third ODI of the series, Pakistan's all-rounder Imad Wasim has expressed that the team is up for the challenge and whatever is gone is gone.

"We need just one win to regain the momentum in series, we are looking to win at Trent Bridge with a big margin to regain our confidence for the series," Imad said ahead of Pakistan's practice session before the third ODI in Nottingham.

"I am 100% confident that we will win the third ODI," he replied when asked if the team is ready to fight back in the series.

He also expressed confidence that he can play an important role for Pakistan in matches to come. "I believe that I can win matches for Pakistan with bat and ball both, and I am doing my best to prove that," he said.

While, talking about his own performance in the previous game, Imad said, “It’s really good to perform, but, we ended up in the losing team. I think if I score even thirty runs and the team wins then I will be really happy.”

He added “I believe in winning the game, which we are not winning, so it’s a personal goal, but, personal goal is not what I want, I want our team to win.”

Pakistan lost the first two matches of the series by 44 runs and 4 wickets at Southampton and Lord's respectively and is set to play the third ODI on Tuesday at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

Pakistan is presently placed at a lowly ninth position in the International Cricket Council's (ICC) ODI rankings. Pakistan is determined to prove the world one-day international rankings and he believes that cricket is all about momentum and if the ‘Men in Green’ are able to win the third ODI then probably it can shift the momentum in their favour.

Today, Pakistan faces England in the third ODI match at Trent Bridge on Tuesday.
