imagePakistan cricket team after securing top spot in tests, were left outplayed by England during the 1st ODI. Pakistan ODI woes continue after all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez which has an unsuccessful run so far was dropped and is to be replaced by Sami Aslam.

According to local media, Sami Aslam would replace Mohammad Hafeez for the second ODI after the all-rounder suffered a knee injury.

Pakistan young opener Sami Aslam cemented his place in ODI’s after scoring 82 and 70 in his debut Test at the Old Trafford against England

Sources also revealed that leg-spinner Yasir Shah would replace all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz after the latter failed to impress selectors in the first ODI.

With the game being held in Lord’s today, the pitch is expected to be on the slower side, benefitting spinners.

Pakistan, who had a tough day out in the opening ODI on Wednesday, suffered a 44-run loss at the hands of England, using the D/L method.
