imageISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will be holding an all-rounders camp after Eid to find the likes of Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood.

Talking to APP, a PCB official said that several players in recent times have tried to become regular all-rounders but they have failed to fill the vacuum created by Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood.

He said the Chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has also underlined the need to find suitable all-rounders.

The PCB selection committee found it difficult to categorize the likes of Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti as regular all-rounders.

He said the PCB cannot hope and wait for an all-rounder to pop up.

"PCB wants to start grooming all-rounders. PCB has asked regional coaches to send names of players who are all-rounders, even in the Under-19 and Under-17 categories, so that all possible candidates can be given maximum chances," he said.

Speaking about the national team tour to England, he said Pakistan cricket team will play their first practice match against English county Somerset in from July 3 to 5.

The second practice match will be held on July 8 to 10 against Sussex. Pakistan will take on England in the first Test on July 14.
