ISLAMABAD: Former leg-spinner Abdul Qadir will be monitoring the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd. (ZTBL) team and will select a pool of players to be played in the Grade-II tournament.
Talking to APP, Qadir said he is the advisor and consultant to the ZTBL President.
"I have come to Islamabad from Lahore to select the ZTBL team for the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Grade-II tournament," he said.
He said his aim was to select the finest young players so that they could carry out in the team for 10 to 15 years.
"After the net practice we will be holding matches of the players by dividing them into two teams," he said.
He said after this, a camp would also be held in Lahore in order to select the best players for the team.
"Our total priority will be merit," he said.
