ISLAMABAD: Former Test Cricket Sarfraz Nawaz has said that the final Playing Eleven for the Twenty-20 World Cup should have been given a final shape long time ago saying the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has wasted too much time in experimenting with players.
Sarfraz said it was very disappointing and sort of laziness on part of the selectors and team management that no player combination was finalized yet.
"Each time we lose a match the coach and T20 captain come up with the same excuse that they are experimenting with the players to finalize the final eleven for the World Cup," he told APP.
Sarfraz said if the final team was finalized up till now then it would have given more confidence to the players.
He advised the PCB not to include those players in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) who they think would be part of team for the World Cup in order to avoid injuries before the mega event.
