Pakistani super stars, Ali Zafar and Fawad Khan team-up to lead Islamabad United (ISLU) in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to local media report, after the announcement of superstar Fawad Khan joining Islamabad United (ISLU) as their team ambassador, on Thursday as PSL’s ambassador Ali Zafar was also welcomed to the ISLU team.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the biggest cricketing event in the country’s recent history. A number of famous international players from the cricketing world have shown their interest and are ready to make an appearance in the PSL.
One of the best cricketers in Pakistan Misbahul Haq is the captain of ISLU, while one of the best Australian players Shane Watson is also part of the team. Legendary all-rounder Wasim Akram is the team director, while former Australian batsman Dean Jones will be Head Coach for ‘Islamabad United’.
‘Islamabad United’ is one of the five franchises of the country’s first T20 tournament Pakistan Super League (PSL). Five teams will play a total 24 matches from February 4 to February 23 in Sharjah and Dubai.
